Destiny (Covent Garden, West End, London, by denizbalbay)

I was serviced by someone whom I suspect being the owner. Being a dane living in London, he must've mistaken me for a tourist or someone who didn't know better.

My girlfriend tried out a couple of sandals which she decided to buy because of low price of??20 and us being tired of looking in shoeshops.?Before she had a chance to put on her own shoes and find her wallet to pay, the manager started making "money" gestures towards her, and kept repeating that he wanted money right now. I politely asked him to wait two seconds while she found her wallet, he shoved to bag into my hand and started calling me "young man" (I'm almost 30 and I would guess him to be between 2 or 4 years older than me).

I take the bag, and I my girlfriend is ready to pay which he didn't notice because he was too busy trying intimidate me with a smug look. He turns to my girlfriend, takes the money and asks her to wait for the receipt, which he then showes into her hand with the words "No exhange or refund for sale items". He then turns towards me and starts to ask if "I'm satisfied now?" (Not really with his behaviour, but since there's no refund on a sale item, what I'm I supposed to do?)

In short. Decently priced items the quality considered, but I still would never recommend anyone buying shoes there because of the complete a-hole of a manager.

This was in the Covent Garden, Neal Street shop, by the way.?
