Question: We verify employees? names and Social Security numbers through the telephone number employer verification service (TNEV) and the paper option. Are these methods still available?
Answer: TNEV and the paper option have been discontinued. You may continue to use the online Social Security Number Verification Service (SSNVS). You should already be registered to SSNVS, since you had to register to use TNEV.
