If you?re ordering an iPhone 5, you?re possibly paying a great deal of cash for the handset. That?s specifically true when you?re getting the telephone straight from Apple without a two-year contract, because the expense of the 16GB model is set at $ 649 ? plus that?s the smallest pricey model about provide. That absolutely isn?t inexpensive, however, there?s 1 aspect of the iPhone 5 which isn?t pricey at all: the expense to charge it.
The people at Opower ran several tests plus determined which the iPhone 5 just costs an estimated 41 cents per year to charge. Getting a little more certain, they utilized the Watts Up Pro Consumption Power Meter to figure out how much electricity the iPhone 5 consumes whenever charging from 0% to 100%. When they had those results, it just took a little of math to figure out how much it may expense customers to charge their iPhone 5 per year.
The test assumes which these iPhone 5 consumers are charging their shiny new handset when daily, that isn?t unreasonable considering the iPhone 5?s beefier power compared to previous iPhones. Simply for kicks, the Opower team additionally tested the Galaxy S III plus determined it costs 53 cents per year to charge Samsung?s flagship. Why the discrepancy involving the 2 handsets? The Galaxy S III attributes a bigger power than the iPhone 5, meaning it takes a little more electricity to totally charge it.
Still, the difference amongst the 2 is negligible, particularly because the expense is spread out over an whole year. It?s somewhat surprising which the expense to charge a mobile is really low, nevertheless Opower equally reminds you which the force use is very substantial whenever you take all smartphone consumers into account. That?s set to strengthen a lot inside the close future too, because it?s estimated which by 2016, a whopping 1 billion persons all over the world can have smartphones. Should you have a few minutes, make sure to read by Opower?s whole report, because it?s all fairly fascinating. What do we think of the small test?

The Texas State Fair Opening Day parade kicked off whith everything "Big and Bright" from neon dazzling floats to Elvis Presley's popping wheely's on motorcycles.
The Texas State Fair kicked off at noon on Friday with its opening day parade in downtown Dallas. Mayor Mike Rawlings served as grand marshal.
Cultural groups and high school marching bands were represented in the parade, and Big Tex?s 60th birthday was celebrated.
The parade started on the corner of Main and Houston streets and ended at Good-Lattimer Expressway. Hundreds of people of all ages lined the parade route, returning waves to princesses, clowns, and marching bands.
The parade featured ten floats, all approved months in advance. According to Head of Special Events Department and Dallasite Lisa Bouble, the planning gets started when the theme for the fair is decided. This year's theme was "Big and Bright."
?The concept for the parade starts in January when we get the theme,? said Bouble. ?We go back and forth with sketches with South West Parades Company and the actual building begins in the summer.?
The parade held true to its theme: floats with jungle and under-the-sea themes dazzled in neon colors, while thumping marching bands, baton twirlers, and Texas line dancers kicked up their cowboy boots behind each float.
About ten riders dressed like Elvis Presley zipped around on their motorbikes, whirling in circles as children clapped and screamed. They sped up, popped wheelies and circled back to do it all again, white capes flapping in the wind.
Princess and pageant queens made multiple appearances on floats, gaining 4-year-old Bella Mize?s approval.
?They?re not Disney princesses but they are really pretty,? she said.
The parade was sponsored by Reliant Energy.
Bouble, 48, said she has gone to the fair every single year and has spent the last 13 working on the parade. ?I?ve been coming to the Texas State Fair my entire life,? she said. ?My mom came here when she was pregnant with me in October and I was born that September.?
Part of being involved in the parade's production includes deciding which float makes the cut. Bouble said she looks for ?variety, originality and entertainment value and how would it be appealing to the crowd.? She likes the floats to be family wholesome and does not accept any political or religion themed floats.
?I thought I knew about the fair having gone all those years, but I?ve gotten to love it even more and get a whole new perspective working on the inside," Bouble said. ?For me, it?s in my blood.??

NEW YORK ? United Federation of Teachers President Michael Mulgrew decided to grandstand about the city?s public school class sizes this week as presidential hopeful Mitt Romney appeared for NBC?s Education Nation Summit.
?
Mulgrew ?complained to a small crowd outside New York City Museum School in Chelsea that ten more schools than last year are over the class size limit written into the UFT?s collective bargaining agreement, the Huffington Post reports.
????
About 670 schools, up from 660 last year, have classrooms that are over the contractual capacity, and the number of special education classrooms that exceed the limit has increased from 118 last year to 270 this year, Mulgrew said. He cited a union survey that the city?s Department of Education deems inaccurate.
?
While Mulgrew?s statements may or may not be true, his grandstanding was undoubtedly a deliberate attempt to counter the message presidential hopeful Mitt Romney delivered to the Education Nation summit across town the same day.
?
?We know the answer as to what it takes to fix our schools, is to invest in great teachers. Teachers are the answer,? Romney said, dismissing class size as a major concern when it comes to quality education.
?
The news site also highlighted a speech Mayor Michael Bloomberg gave at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology late last year in which he said in an ideal world he would fire half of the city?s teachers and pay the remaining ones twice as much. Like Romney and numerous education experts, Bloomberg is convinced that the quality of a teacher is much more important than the number of students in the classroom.
?
We certainly agree that teacher quality, not quantity is a key to improving education, but that?s a viewpoint that doesn?t jibe very well with the union agenda. The more public school teachers the city employs ? regardless of how well they teach ? the more the union receives in dues revenue. It?s really that simple, and it?s the biggest reason union bosses are constantly fighting to reduce the number of students in each class.
?
Mulgrew?s comments are not only self-centered, they?re disingenuous.
?
New York City spends tens of millions of dollars each year in salaries and benefits for teachers who school officials have deemed too dangerous or incompetent to teach students, but cannot fire because of provisions in the teachers union contThose teachers used to be corralled in ?rubber rooms? where they would sit idle all day, but were recently dispersed throughout the city?s public school system to do menial tasks.
?
The union contract also stipulates the city must continue to pay teachers in the absent teacher reserve pool ? educators who have been laid off from schools closed by the Department of Education.
?
DOE spokeswoman Erin Hughes told the Huffington Post that if Mulgrew was truly concerned about the impact of class size on students, ?he would accept our many proposals to stop paying those in the absent teacher reserve pool who are draining resources that could otherwise be used to put permanent, effective teachers in the classroom.?
?
Of course, that would mean fewer dues paying members, and for Big Labor that would be totally unacceptable.

A scrap of papyrus from the early Christian era that refers to Jesus having a wife has met with extreme skepticism since its unveiling 11 days ago. Many scholars have declared the so-called "Gospel of Jesus' Wife" a modern forgery ? one that probably postdates Dan Brown's 2003 novel, "The Da Vinci Code." Others say that conclusion is too hasty.
What are the experts' arguments for and against its authenticity? And will the world ever know for sure whether this dogma-defying artifact is real?
The torn, business card-size fragment found instant fame when Harvard historian Karen King announced its discovery last Tuesday (Sept. 18), because it bears the startling line: "Jesus said to them, 'My wife ?'"?The manuscript is written in Coptic, the language of early Christians living in Egypt.?Although the beginning and end of each line of the manuscript are missing, it could be interpreted as a record of a conversation between Jesus and his disciples, in which the disciples tell Jesus: "Mary [Magdalene] is not worthy of it," and Jesus responds that his wife ? presumably Mary ? "will be able to be his disciple."
King has tentatively dated the artifact to the fourth century, and thinks it may be a copy of a gospel (an account of Jesus' life) written in Greece in the second century, when there was controversy among Christians over the discipleship of Mary Magdalene. If authentic, the gospel suggests some early Christians believed Jesus and Mary were married.?[Translation of Papyrus]
A sloppy fake
However, scholars have identified several peculiarities that have led many to believe the manuscript is a forgery. They say the text was written sometime in the last 50 years, and probably the last decade, upon a blank piece of ancient papyrus that the forger could easily have picked up on the antiquities market.
First, the writing is sloppy. Compared with authentic Coptic papyri, in which letters are written with varying thickness and subtle curves and details, the letters in the Gospel of Jesus' Wife are formed by rigid, straight strokes of equal thickness. In a YouTube video posted Friday (Sept. 28), Christian Askeland, a Coptic scholar based in Germany, explained that the letters look unnatural, as if written by someone with a very limited knowledge of the language.
If a forgery, it's clearly not the work of a professional, but Askeland doesn't think it was written by a fourth-century amateur, either. "He's obviously not writing in a really formal kind of way, but he's not doing the kind of idiosyncrasies you see in a typical informal hand or in a semi-literary text or something like that," he said.
Second, several experts have pointed out that the scribe does not seem to have used either of the writing instruments common to the time period: a stylus (Roman metal pen) or a calamus (Egyptian reed pen). The blotchiness of the letters and what look like brushstrokes in one place suggest the author instead used a paintbrush ? an unorthodox writing tool in ancient Egypt. (Other experts have countered that the pen may simply have been dull.)
Third, the textual content raises questions. Despite much of the manuscript being cut off, its meaning is "too easy" to decipher, Askeland said. "If you look at which parts of the manuscript have the subject and the verb staring right at us, it's most of the manuscript." The center-alignment of all the key phrases seems atypical.
Askeland concludes, "It is very probable that it's a fake." [Did Leonard da Vinci Copy His Famous 'Vitruvian Man'?]
Also regarding the textual content of the piece, the New Testament historian Francis Watson of the University of Durham points out that all the snippets in the text except for "my wife" also appear in the Gospel of Thomas, an authentic Coptic gospel that was discovered in Egypt in 1945; the snippets from Thomas have simply been rearranged to create a new meaning. Watson considers it unlikely that an ancient scribe would have borrowed each of his phrases from a contemporary work. "It's much easier to see how a modern compiler with limited ability in Coptic might gratefully avail him- or herself of material extracted from existing Coptic texts," Watson wrote in an article published on his website.
A translation of the Gospel of Thomas was published in 1956. Watson thinks the Gospel of Jesus' Wife must have been forged sometime since then. "I have a suspicion it's post-2003 as well. That was the year the "Da Vinci Code" was published, and this could have provided the inspiration," he wrote. (In Dan Brown's novel, Jesus is married to Mary Magdalene.) [Who Was Jesus, the Man?]
Answers written in ink
Not everyone is ready to trash the scrap of papyrus. "While these are interesting arguments, I certainly don't think they're conclusive," Paul Dilley, a scholar of early Christianity at the University of Iowa working on non-canonical literature and Coptic, told Life's Little Mysteries.
For one thing, the scribe who wrote the Gospel of Jesus' Wife could simply have had bad penmanship. To the argument that the phrases in the gospel are cut-and-pasted from the Gospel of Thomas, Michael Peppard, assistant professor of theology at Fordham University, rejoins that most of the phrases were in common usage, and so their appearance in both texts is just a small but unsurprising coincidence.
Furthermore, "there is one word that does not match its use in the Gospel of Thomas or its first entry in Coptic dictionaries, and it's the crucial word under discussion: 'wife' (hime)," Peppard writes on his blog. "The most common version of this word is s-hime (with an aspirated 'h')," he writes.
It would be odd for a modern forger to choose a less common version of the "headline-grabbing" word.
And Peppard said it would also be odd for a modern forger to manage to fade and fray the papyrus fragment authentically enough to convince Roger Bagnall, director of the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World at New York University and one of the world's most respected papyrologists. Bagnall says the absorption of the ink by the papyrus, especially in faded and damaged areas, stands up to scrutiny. "It's hard to construct a scenario that is at all plausible in which somebody fakes something like this," he told the New York Times. "The world is not really crawling with crooked papyrologists."
With compelling arguments on both sides, the marital status of Jesus ? or, at least, early opinions on the subject ? may come down to chemistry. The chemical composition of the manuscript's ink will be tested at Harvard in mid-October.
"I think that the results of an ink test would be conclusive," Dilley wrote in an email. "A carbon dating of the papyrus would not be conclusive, because if it is a modern forgery, the forger could have obtained an ancient papyrus fragment relatively easily, and then written over it.?It would be far more difficult to reproduce ancient ink accurately."
An authentic Coptic manuscript would most likely be written in carbon-gum ink, made from carbon soot and gum arabic (made from the sap of acacia trees).?But even if the tests reveal the right kind of ink of the right age, naysayers have argued that a clever forger could have bought an ancient scrap of papyrus, burned part of it to produce carbon soot, used the soot to make ink, then used the ink to write the phony gospel on the remaining fragment.

While Ridley Scott's latest flick is already available on just about every downloadable movie store you could name, Prometheus is still a few weeks away from making its debut on disc and now Fox has officially released all the details. The extras listed in an earlier leak appear to be accurate, with a Second Screen iPad app that promises access to character Peter Weyland's archives, while much of the 15 minutes or so of deleted and alternative scenes have already been posted on the internet (search around if you absolutely must know what else there is and can't wait / don't want to spend the cash). Arriving October 9th, there's a four disc set with both a Blu-ray 3D edition and bonus extras disc with featurettes for a total of seven hours of bonus materials, while the two disc set trims it to just one Blu-ray and DVD / digital copy. The two disc set is currently selling for $24.99 on Amazon, while the four disc edition bumps the price another $5. A trailer with a peek at some of those extras and the full list of details awaits after the break, but an explanation for why anyone would ever try to touch some weird space snake is something you'll have to find on your own.

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court ruled on Friday that a lower court should reconsider a sales ban against Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 won by Apple in a patent dispute with the South Korean electronics maker.
The injunction was put in place ahead of a month-long trial that pitted iPhone maker Apple Inc against Samsung Electronics Co Ltd in a closely watched legal battle that ended with a resounding victory for Apple last month on many of its patent violation claims.
However, the jury found that Samsung had not violated the patent that was the basis for the tablet injunction and Samsung argued the sales ban should be lifted. U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh said she could not act because Samsung had already appealed.
In its ruling on Friday, the Federal U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Washington said Koh could now consider the issue.
The decision comes just a month before the South Korean corporation is expected to unveil the second generation of one of its most successful devices, the stylus-equipped Note.
The Galaxy 10.1 is an older model, but the ban still hurts Samsung in the run-up to the pivotal holiday shopping season.
The world's top two smartphone makers are locked in patent disputes in 10 countries as they vie to dominate the lucrative market, which is growing rapidly.
A U.S. jury found during the just-concluded trial that Samsung had copied critical features of the iPhone and iPad and awarded Apple $1.05 billion in damages.

If you thought filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy was the final chapter in LightSquared's wireless network saga, you'd be wrong. Hedge-fund manager Philip Falcone is back at the FCC's doorstep with yet another proposal, which he hopes might snatch the maligned network from the jaws of GPS interference-related troubles. Two filings placed with the commission apparently outline plans to use its broadband network in a way that it believes won't interfere with GPS signals, along with the 5MHz of spectrum that are known not to cause any issues. Along with the proposed changes, LightSquared is reportedly set to ask for more time to have exclusive rights to propose a reorganization plan. If granted, this could finally mean some progress for the beleaguered project, but with investors worried that money being spent on this could be better-placed back in their pockets, Falcone will have everything crossed, while the FCC deliberates the situation.

Deep Fried Jambalaya wins The State Fair of Texas?s Big Tex Choice Awards and gives the fried food king, Abel Gonzales, his fifth trophy.
Fried! That?s how state fair goers like their food. And Abel Gonzales aims to please ?em.
Abel Gonzales Jr., 42, just took home his fifth Big Tex Choice Award. This year, his Deep Fried Jambalaya earned him a trophy in the Best Taste category.
Try it for yourself at the State Fair of Texas, which runs through Oct. 21. You can find Gonzales?s food booth on Nimitz Circle, near Fair Park?s Embarcadero Building.
After concocting and winning for Fried Peanut Butter, Jelly and Banana Sandwiches; Texas Fried Cookie Dough; Fried Coke; and Deep Fried Butter, even the fried food guru himself thought his winning streak had to be over.
? I don?t even think about winning anymore, that?s why I was so shocked that I won this year,? said Gonzales. Gonzales, who was busily preparing for the fair?s Sept. 28 opening inside his brightly colored booth one day recently, said his main goal is to make it to the finals every year with something creative and tasty. Actually winning is just his icing on the cake.
Gonzales, who works in a collared shirt with ?Vandalay Ind.? printed above the pocket, was one in 54 contestants who entered the Big Tex Choice Awards. Vandalay Ind. is Gonzales?s business.
?Winners get bragging rights and very long lines during the fair,? said fair spokeswoman Sue Gooding.
When it comes to the State Fair of Texas?s revenue, food sales are a serious business. Gooding said that in 2011, food sales surpassed $20 million. Gooding said that the fried food plays an important role in these sales.
?The fried food has definitely produced more attention for us,? said Gooding. ?The results of our contests have shown up in magazines across the world.? Gooding believes that every year the fried food attracts more and more people to the fair.
?There are more than 200 food locations at the fair,? said Gooding. ? It might be safe to say about 60 percent carry fried food.?
Gonzales said it is important to think of something that will grab people?s attention and that also tastes good when seeking inspiration for a new concoction.
?You can make fried anything,? said Gonzales. ?The trick is to make it good. Just because you think of fried peppermints, doesn?t mean you are going to serve it!?
Gonzales does not take full credit for this year?s Deep Fried Jambalaya idea. Gonzales?s high school friend and owner of The Pour House on Skillman Ave. , Matthew Rangel, insisted that Gonzales fry up some jambalaya.
?I was eating jambalaya one day and thought that it would make a great idea for the fair- a fried jambalaya ball!? said Rangel. ?I tried it out and was shocked that it tasted as good as it sounded. The rest was history.? Gonzales said having a couple of beers at The Pour House with Rangel often led to fried food discussions.
Even vendor owners who serve more traditional state fair food recognize the success fried food brings. Food booth owner John Martinez has worked for the fair for about 26 years, 13 of which he has spent running his booth ?Mi Casita?. The booth sells all things Mexican, including fajita tacos, chicken flautas, chalupas and tostadas.
?The state fair has been so successful with all the different fried foods,? said Martinez, who was cleaning his booth with his wife one day recently. ?The way I see it is that the state fair gives everyone a day to splurge.?
Gonzales stays busy during this time of year. He said he won?t begin thinking about next year?s creation until he decompresses from this fair season. Gonzales, son of a Tex-Mex restaurateur, used to work as a computer analyst. Now, he no longer does much work outside of the fair, which is his main source of income.
?Each year I cross my fingers and hope for something new,? said Gonzales. ? The fair goers aren?t going to try everything just because you can stick it on the fryer. It has to be worthy of the win and the hype.?

Let?s start with a definition of niche ?
1. A recess in a wall, as for holding a statue.
2. A cranny, hollow, or crevice, as in a rock.
3. A situation or activity specially suited to a person?s abilities or character.
Finding a niche is important whether Internet Marketing
or real world marketing:
I think I always knew that choosing the right niche?market, was considered
essential to business success, yet for me, as for many professionals, choosing
a?niche felt something like the ?kiss of death? in a way. When we dig in our
heels against choosing a niche,? we are probably responding to the first two
definitions above.
After all, who wants to do business in a hole in a wall or in a tiny, rocky
place, right??
If you believe that defining your niche market means choosing a hard,
cramped, and confining space, it?s no wonder?we resist.
People who bring their heart and soul to their work will resist niche
marketing that tells them they must restrict the ways in which they
offer value added service to the world.
But the good news is that choosing your niche market will do exactly
the opposite: it will free you to be the biggest,?most authentic, and
most complete offer possible.
Consider the third definition of niche.
When you look at niche in this light, you will see that your perfect niche
market is that location or domain in which you are most readily accessible
to the people who are most likely to benefit from (and thus value) the offer
that you are and in which you are simultaneously most free to exercise
your brilliance.
Your niche market is the place?where you have a natural competitive
advantage because you occupy the right place in?the right ecosystem.
A good niche market is one in which:
There?s a paradox in naming your niche market.? When you give people a
category to put your products or services in, it is easier for them to get a
handle on what you do (and also to remember it.)
It?s also much easier for them to appreciate how you differ from other
professionals in that category. In other words, by putting yourself in a
category, you can also make yourself stand out because you distinguish
yourself from others in that category.
This is best referred to as your unique selling proposition (USP) or as
some migh call it, a unique selling point.
?
A personal example in summary:
Over 10 years ago, when I first started teaching SEO skills to small groups
of business owners, I had a vision to create a form of event, unlike any of
the other more common SEO seminars or conferences. There were plenty
of good SEO type conferences around, so how would I creat my USP?
Most conferences are big events with dozens of speakers. Great for the big
money type of event and?great for networking too. Plus they?re a lot of fun.
But I decided that I wanted to do small groups and do them more in the
form of a hands-on SEO Workshop, where each student would get
individualized attention to detail, plus actual drilling?and hands-on
practice.
Many big conferences offered upsells and add on services that aim to
extract even more money out of the attendees for things like cioaching or
mentoring.
But for our Search Engine Academy Workshops, we chose to include the
complete 6 Month Mentoring program for ongoing support at no extra
cost. There are lots of other things we did? differently too, like we do daily
evaluations to benchmark each students progress day by day, instead of
only doing one evaluation after the event is over. We also made it a priority
to ensure we answer every student?s question while they are in the SEO
Workshop.
So you can see that with all of these USP type things in mind we started
the very first SEO Mastery Workshop back in January 2002 in San Antonio,
Texas. Today we have a? network of SEO trainers and school locations located
all over the globe, helping ordinary business owners to understand SEO, Social
Medial and a wide variety of high performance Internet marketing topics to
boost the success of their online business and enable them to compete.
Always consider your own USP carefully and build out your business in an
original way so that you separate yourself?from the crowd in whatever niche
that you choose.

EXCLUSIVE: As the UN opens its General Assembly session, it is already thinking up new global taxes
By George Russell
Published September 27, 2012
FoxNews.com
A 1 percent tax on billionaires around the world. A tax on all currency trading in the U.S. dollar, the euro, the Japanese yen and the British pound sterling. Another tiny tax on all financial transactions, including stock and bond trading, and trading in financial derivatives. New taxes on carbon emissions and on airline tickets. A royalty on all undersea mineral resources extracted more than 100 miles offshore of any nations territory.
These latest global tax proposals have received various forms of endorsement at U.N. meetings over the spring and summer, and will be entered into the record during the 67th U.N. General Assembly session, which began this week.
The United Nations is finding new and innovative ways to create global taxes that would transfer hundreds of billions, and even trillions, of dollars from the rich nations of the world especially the U.S. to poorer ones, in line with U.N.-directed economic, social and environmental development.

Another week, another round of unimpressed critics.
"Hotel Transylvania," "Won't Back Down," "House at the End of the Street" and "Taken 2" were among the offerings that didn't exactly earn stellar reviews. (Lest you think these folks hate everything, "Looper" and "Pitch Perfect" fared much better.) These movies all faltered in different ways, providing a number of lessons for aspiring filmmakers and Hollywood heavyweights alike.
In music, it was a rough week for genre-defining titans. Both Green Day and No Doubt's latest efforts were met with a lukewarm reception, though No Doubt seemed to be on the receiving end of the harsher criticism. Why so serious? Turns out folks found No Doubt's disc to be a bit on the empty side, all production and not much heart. As for Green Day, the band's evolution into a corporate favorite -- Billie Joe Armstrong's public meltdown and stint in rehab notwithstanding -- has alienated fans who remember their punk days. Lupe Fiasco's message-heavy album didn't exactly make much of a positive impression either.
Peep all the reviews below. As always, let us know who you think missed the mark.
<em>The New York Times</em> was not a fan: <blockquote><a href="http://movies.nytimes.com/2012/09/22/movies/the-house-at-the-end-of-the-street-with-jennifer-lawrence.html">Once the action kicks in, ?House at the End of the Street? turns into a choppily edited, poorly timed mess with little continuity, overloaded with aural shocks in a desperate attempt to compensate for its minimal suspense. </a></blockquote>
Andy Gill of <em>The Independent</em> breaks down Billie Joe Armstrong and friends: <blockquote><a href="http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/reviews/album-green-day-uno-reprise-8163413.html">This, the first salvo of a 3CD campaign that will see two further albums released by mid-January, finds Green Day's devotion to the most basic of rock formats resulting almost inevitably in some of the dullest music released all year.</a> </blockquote>
The Guardian dispatched Lupe's album thusly: <blockquote><a href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2012/sep/27/lupe-fiaso-food-liquor-review">Fiasco is not without skills or beliefs, but neither are as refined as his self-regard.</a></blockquote>
"Battleship" returns for DVD release. The film was not kindly reviewed when it debuted: <blockquote><a href="http://thecrat.com/movie-reviews/battleship-review-by-adam/">You can?t ?get? a film like Battleship. It?s not satire, it doesn?t play on two levels like Starship Troopers, it?s just shit. Still, I almost encourage you to seek it out. As a piece of miscalculated, American wankery, it is almost unparalleled. Consider this one Sunk.</a></blockquote>
Writing in <em>Time Out</em>, Tom Huddleston panned Neeson's thriller sequel: <blockquote><a href="http://www.timeout.com/film/reviews/92047/taken-2.html">?Taken 2? is a cynical, contemptuous film whose sole reason for existing appears to be to squeeze the pockets of anyone who enjoyed the first movie. Don?t give it the satisfaction.</a></blockquote>
This film seems like a really good try: <blockquote><a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/gog/movies/wont-back-down,1213163/critic-review.html">The one-step-forward, two-steps-back nature of collaborative reform doesn?t lend itself to a climax featuring plucky heroes wearing green and big bad union guys wearing red. Writer-director Daniel Barnz choreographs that sequence to maximize nail-biting and stirring emotion. But by that time, ?Won?t Back Down? has become so didactic that viewers are likely to feel less uplifted than lectured.</a></blockquote>
The children's movie did not impress Newsday's Rafer Guzman: <a href="http://www.newsday.com/entertainment/movies/hotel-transylvania-review-horror-not-so-funny-1.4043212"><blockquote>"Hotel Transylvania," a 3-D animated feature in which Count Dracula (voiced by Adam Sandler) manages a resort for persecuted monsters, feels like a string of jokes without a story. That might be better than the other way around, but this Sony Pictures Animation production ends up feeling less like a children's movie and more like a disposable summer comedy.</blockquote></a>
No Doubt seems to have lost their way, according to the <em>Boston Globe</em>: <blockquote><a href="http://articles.boston.com/2012-09-25/arts/34035857_1_push-band-foursome">It?s not a matter of everybody fighting for their own ideas at the group?s expense; just the opposite, in fact, as it sounds like every last detail was worked out through numbing compromise. The band has rarely sounded this faceless, with the indiscriminate, locked-in sheen of a producer-driven act instead of the fused idiosyncrasies of a supposedly inspired foursome.</a></blockquote>

SEO is vital to keep up with the online traffic competitions. Search engines are the online traffic cops that direct people to various sites based on their search queries. If you want to generate more traffic for your website, use the tips in this article.
Do not create pages full of links. Add them into your content, so that they blend with the rest of the page. Readers don?t really like contextless links, and search engines penalize pages with a high link-to-text ratio. If your links flow naturally with your content, it will improve your relationship with both human readers and search engine bots.
Websites that offer useful information will rank higher than websites that only sell a product. You can post testimonials, articles on uses of your product, tips about how you select the product you sell, and much more.
If your the webmaster of a business site, getting the owner or CEO active on the site it will help boost your traffic. People may be very interested in hearing what the owner, the power behind the brand, has to say.
To give SEO a great boost, whenever possible use off-site links to quality content. This is really important when it comes to linking. Search engines like to see relevant off-site links more than internal links that connect the pages of your site. Try to secure links to sites that are going to refer to your site as well.
If you have a site that is written in a non-english language, use the language meta tag. Doing this will rank your website higher when someone searches in a particular language.
The more time that visitors spend on your site, the higher the website?s page rank will be. You want to keep people on your site as long as possible, and great content will keep them there and bring them back again!
Gear your efforts toward getting a few of the most popular search engines to rank your site highly. The major search engines all have their own way of utilizing SEO elements and establishing page rank. , Ask. com and Bing have their own sorts of nuances.
If you are sharing a server, you need to make sure that a banned site doesn?t share the same proxy. Sharing proxies with sites that spam or banned sites will reflect negatively on you. You might not get the traffic you want because your ratings get the same negative ratings as the sites you share proxies with.
Try including transcripts for videos or audio you post to your site. If you include audio and video transcripts on your site, search engines will be able to include that content to determine search rankings.
People make SEO sound like black magic, but it really comes down to the quality of your content. Focus on a keyword to keep your content short and sweet. Never submit an article that has spelling, punctuation or general grammar mistakes. When you content is well written, you will find a lot of success doing search engine optimization.
In order to generate more hits from search engines, try using longer or plural form of your keywords. Keyword stemming is a strategy that some search engines use. This means that the keyword ?accountant? may not be enough to bring in people who search for ?accountants? or ?accounting.? To use keyword stemming to your advantage, use the longer form, such as ?accounting?, so that your site is returned with search results for accountant.
Research any SEO company you consider for hire, prior to signing contracts. SEO has become big business, and there are many unqualified scammers ready to take your money and run. Do your research by verifying claimed expertise, double-checking testimonials and speaking with those who have hired your potential consultants before. You will be glad that you did this.
Successfully optimizing your site for search engines may seem intimidating, but as this article has shown you, it doesn?t have to be difficult. Knowing the few basic principles that determine how the search engines work, can help you tweak your site to attract more visitors than ever. Before you know it, you?ll have a slew of new
