"What are your fees?"

That is often the first question we hear by telephone.? We do not beat around the bush here when you ask for the fees.? My response is to give the caller a price range that depends on the hours used.? Then I will ask what type of services and what amount of services is the caller?contemplating.? From the caller's response I can give him or her a better idea of what the fees will be, as well as offer suggestions for ways to trim the total cost by utilizing services in a more efficient manner.

When I am shopping online, I like to see prices posted.? It annoys me if I cannot find the prices.??I will leave a web site to look for and purchase from?a company that does post its prices.??With that in mind, I am posting our caregiving fees below. ? Feel free to look them over and ask questions.

Let me add that each Comfort Keepers office sets its fees according to its local costs. ? Also, the fees listed here may change at any time, although any fees that you agree to pay are in place for a year from the revision date posted at the bottom of the rate sheet.

After the first four weeks of service, any client who continues with regular hours is considered long-term. (Service under four weeks causes over-time wages.)

Transportation Fees

A mileage charge of 55 cents per mile will be added for all transportation unless the caregiver uses your vehicle.

• One Week?s Notice required for rescheduling of assigned services.

• Notice given with less than 48-hours notice will be billed at assigned schedule.

• Notice given more than 48-hours but less than 1-week will be billed a two hour minimum.

Termination of Services

A two-week notice is required for termination of services. Our caregivers depend on a stable income. We cannot re-schedule a caregiver on short-notice to be sure he/she has income. A caregiver without a stable income will look for a different job.

*Fees for other locations will be calculated based on mileage and travel time. If we can send a caregiver who resides closer to your location we will reduce or eliminate the Daily Travel Fee.?

If we have to send a substitute from farther away, you will be charged the travel fee. You may request that we not send a substitute from beyond a certain distance, but we need to know at the time you sign up for services.
