The saying ?the money is in the list? is this someone?s over hyped claptrap? Apparently not ? in today?s climate it is the best way to make money on-line. Gone are the days where you could successfully sell your fantastic product cold without any relationship to that person. This is where building your list comes in.
This is where beginners fail on-line, they think all they have to do is sell an affiliate product and the dollars will roll in. Off they go to Clickbank, analyzing the data and choosing a hot high conversion product. Within six months they?ll be internet millionaires! Really, can we get real for once and kick this mindset into touch?
I will repeat it again, to make money on-line, build a list. Here are some thoughts why you should do it this way and not sell straight away.

Why would you do this? Let me ask you a question. If a marketer gave you free advice, offered you gifts and basically providing with useful information to help you succeed, would you buy something they recommended?
? List ? The name of the game is to build a large targeted list so you can build this relationship and recommend products from time to time. All the successful internet gurus have huge lists and let us say for demonstration purposes they have 50,000 subscribers. From this list their email conversion rate of even just 1%, how much will they earn if they sell even just a $ 37 product? Of course in reality it is higher.
The best way to subscribe to your list is to provide something of value for free. This could be a report or newsletter. A word of warning make sure it is of value or they will just as easily opt-out! To do this you can either have a blog or a squeeze page which can easily be learnt with a few simple skills.
